President
Henri Belisle is the President of TQ Construction, a family operated business founded over 3 decades ago by his father Ralph Belisle, who beyond his wildest dreams, grew the business on firm handshakes and knocking doors — building TQ from nothing into a nationally acclaimed company.
Committed to upholding TQ’s foundational values for the future, and continuing TQ’s tradition of excellence, Henri is a Red Seal Carpenter trained at BCIT and is continually seeking to deepen his understanding of residential construction. Under Henri’s sustainable leadership, TQ Construction continues to evolve as an innovative and progressive design-build firm that bends to stand the test of time; an industry leader known for top quality craftsmanship and uncommon service.
Long before achieving his Red Seal, Henri worked alongside his family in construction as a kid and developed an affinity for the design-build sector. While overseeing the day to day operations of the business, Henri is also a Director of the HAVAN Board, Vice-Chair of the HAVAN RenoCouncil, past Chair of HAVAN’s U40 Committee, and an enthusiastic volunteer and liaison to the Association. He knows that anything is possible if you have the right people around you, with everyone pulling in the same direction.
Ralph
Co-founder, Project Relations
Born and raised in Vancouver, Ralph Belisle has a straightforward philosophy about home renovations. Ralph, former President of TQ Construction, is a seasoned carpenter who, along with his partner Hélène founded TQ Construction in 1985. Together they have built a company that has won over 65 industry awards which focuses on top quality workmanship and excellent service. Ralph provides strategic leadership, supports employee development and is a champion for the company’s vision and values.
Ralph has extensively contributed to the evolution of the residential construction industry not only through the lifespan of his own business, but in several leadership roles. As a Chair of the Renovation Council of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association, Ralph has been a key player in developing new regulations and standards for renovators. He served as Past President of both the Canadian Home Builders' Association of BC and the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association. He was also a former director of the Vancouver Better Business Bureau. Ralph continues to to serve on numerous committees while he oversees many aspects of the projects at TQ Construction.
Hélène
Co-Founder
As a co-founder of TQ Construction since 1985, Hélène Belisle historically managed the marketing, advertising and promotions of TQ Construction. She now leads the administration of the executive team, commitment towards people and offers artful council when guidance is sought between departments. Hélène feels that delivering world-class customer satisfaction is the foundation of the company's success and prominent reputation. “I believe that what we do here, improves not only our clients’ homes but the quality of their lives. To make this possible, our work is guided by a strong customer focus, high–quality construction and exciting architectural designs. What’s more, we know that every TQ customer is unique which is why we encourage our buyers to customize their new homes to suit their individual tastes and needs."
Kim
Accounting Administrator
Kim began working part time at TQ Construction in 2000 when the youngest of her 4 children was in preschool. Her long-standing employment has expanded her full-time role to include all aspects of office administration with countless responsibilities that make her indispensable member of the TQ family. Her lengthy contribution to the firm has made her a resourceful authority that supports all departments. She is a valuable archive of knowledge regarding the company's evolution. Her various roles include accounting, reporting, compliance, governance and human resources.
Michelle
Assistant to the President
Since joining TQ in September 2013, Michelle is one of the cheerful voices you will hear when calling into the office. She completed her post secondary education at Douglas College with a diploma in Marketing Management and another in Early Childhood Education (ECE). Michelle worked with children and families for several years before transitioning to the marketing field. Michelle loves the variety — from organizing logistics for home shows, assisting with project photo shoots, interacting with homeowners and colleagues, to coordinating images for promotions and multitasking in the office in Marketing and Administration. Her former job titles include Marketing Assistant, Early Childhood Educator and Tourism Information Counselor.
Megan
Project Relations
Megan's journey with TQ Construction began in June 2017, sparked by a chance encounter with Henri at a BCIT social mixer – just as he was about to wrap up. Initially offering administrative assistance, Megan's versatility quickly shone as she delved into marketing, sales, and design support. Growing up in a family of carpenters and electricians, being around blueprints and seeing the whole process of a home being built, Megan was naturally drawn to the construction industry from an early age.
Equipped with a diploma in Architectural and Building Technology from BCIT and hands-on experience with BC Housing, Megan has evolved into TQ's trusted Project Relations role and Safety Officer. As a CHBA Qualified Adaptiv Home Specialist, she skillfully navigates renovation projects catering to diverse needs, from disability accommodation to aging in place. In her personal time, Megan finds joy in her kitchen, indulging her passion for baking and cooking. She treasures family time, relishing outdoor adventures with her family and their shared love for sunshine, walks, lakes, and camping.
Rebecca

Judit
Admininstrative Assistant
With a career spanning three diverse countries - Spain, Mexico and Canada – Judit honed her skills as an Administrative Assistant. Currently based in Canada with TQ Construction, she brings more than 20 years of international experience in providing crucial support and ensuring efficient operations. Judit is dedicated to organization, detail-oriented and delivering excellence in her role.
Since joining TQ Construction in September 2022, Judit has become an integral part of our team’s success. Whether it’s ordering a pizza for our crew or providing administrative support, Judit is available to facilitate our team’s success.
With BC’s many hiking spots, Judit loves to visit them with her family along with exploring local events, new cafes and restaurants.
Ellen
Estimator and Design Manager
Born and raised in south China where she trained as an electronic engineer, Ellen immigrated to Canada in 2003 and joined TQ in 2006. She is a key player in TQ's performance timeline, applying financial experience, structure and strategy ensuring a smooth transition from concept to construction for the client. Ellen works to continually improve resource planning, project feasibility, cost control, value engineering and labor relations, resulting in a streamlined experience for both the client and all TQ departments.
Upon contributing over 11 years to TQ Construction, Ellen's ever evolving design-build knowledge and finesse in pre-construction coordination is a vital component of client relations, project delivery, estimating, financial analysis and quality assurance.
Rebecca
Designer
Rebecca's passion for design began at a young age, influenced by her grandfather's career as a builder. Growing up around new homes and construction, she became fascinated by the process of creating spaces and eventually participated in her family’s house renovations. This early exposure sparked her interest in design and shaped her career path.
Rebecca has been with TQ since 2017, gaining extensive experience in interior design and earning awards for her work. Before joining TQ, she spent over 3 years working at a small kitchen and bath design showroom. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from the University of South Australia and is currently preparing to take the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam to further advance her qualifications.
Outside of work, Rebecca loves traveling and exploring new cities, where she draws inspiration from the diverse elements of design and architecture. She also enjoys staying active through various sports and outdoor activities.
Lesley
Design Assistant
Lesley is a BCIT graduate with an Interior Design Certification and Commercial Design Diploma. She believes design at its core is about beauty, functionality and foraging positive client relationships and new client opportunities. Working through school in the hospitality industry, Lesley gained valuable leadership skills, the capability to thrive in team situations, and the ability to manage many different projects at once. As a child, her family was constantly staging and redesigning their home and remembers following the Interior Designers around in awe of the work they were doing. This ignited a passion in her. Lesley is skilled at quick hand drafting, AutoCAD, Layout, Sketchup, Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Jeren
Architectural Draftsperson
Jeren is an experienced architect with a Bachelor of Architect from Iran. She moved to Canada in December 2019 and continued her schooling at BCIT. Jeren furthered her career at TQ Construction as an Architectural Draftsperson. On her time off, Jeren enjoys spending time with her family, checking out local community events and continuing to improve her skills with Revit and rendering.
Sam
Project Manager
Sam is a competent and accomplished Project Manager and previous Site Supervisor with 10 years in the industry, 6 of which have been with TQ. Originally, Sam started out in framing for new construction and transitioned into renovations. He has an expert eye for detail, workmanship and a sets a "top shelf" standard for upholding customer satisfaction. Homeowners consistently remark how assured they feel having Sam oversee the construction of their home. His performance, confidence and accountability quickly builds a home owner's trust. Sam's impressive track record and winning personality is easily embraced and continuously described as genuine and professional.
Aaron
Construction Site Supervisor
With 13 years of construction experience, Aaron started at TQ Construction as a carpenter in 2015. While working in Whistler in stonework, Aaron became drawn to carpentry and craftsman homes. Recognizing his passion for custom cabinetry, Aaron pursued his new career direction. Aaron's solution oriented thinking is a perfect match for the renovations industry — thriving on the typical, predictable challenges that are part of each unique project.

Rob is an Apprentice Carpenter and has been with TQ Construction since March 2021. He moved to Canada in 2019 from Sydney, Australia. Rob has always enjoyed working with others and gains satisfaction from seeing his work progress – key factors that drew him to pursue a career in carpentry. When Rob is not on the tools, he is most likely outdoors, mountain biking or snowboarding.

Nicolai gained his construction experience in Australia and the UK. After spending 3 years fabricating signs in Vancouver, Nicolai decided to pursue his career into Carpentry. He completed the Red Seal Apprenticeship and worked on residential home projects before joining TQ in January 2024. During his time off, Nicolai enjoys spending time with his family.
